So, this is Vernon Finney. His work is some of the first stuff I saw that made me think I should start a blog. The first and last pictures are really incredible to me. The first one is titled, "The Creator" and the last one is "Adam! Arise" The second to last piece is called "Drifting Apart" I've looked at that picture before and never really thought anything of it, but today was different. I looked at it and then read the title and my stomach flip-flopped. I really connected with it suddenly.
Thank you K-tea! I'm glad you were able to get a glimpse of my work, and I'm even more excited with the fact you were able to decipher the meaning of "Drifting Apart". I've always stated, I paint my feeling. And in this artwork you will see a woman and a man, interlaced and super imposed as Earth's tectonic plates. There's much meaning to be found in my work, I am glad my art is finally starting to see the light of day and the thoughts of my fellow Human Being.
